Fertod
Fertod's claim to fame is the Eszterhazy palace. The most famous palace occupant was Joseph Hayden, who was the court musician. The palace wasn't so royal when we arrived; it was a little more like a scene out of the shining. Apparently we came at during a major renovation. There is a hostel inside which we paid about $5.00 to spend the night in. It was a bit creepy since we were the only people staying in our wing. After we obtained our room we took the bus back to Sopron for dinner
